Where HomeLog is right now
You can try HomeLog today — starting with your gate.
The first thing you can do yourself: wire a Shelly to the gate motor you already have, then open it through LINE. The DIY guide walks you through every step. This is an early release, so here is the honest list of what works and what doesn't yet.
- The "your home greets you" feature runs on iPhone Shortcuts only — Android isn't supported yet.
- Keep a gate word in the device name — "gate", "ประตู", or "รั้ว". The open button is drawn from that name, so renaming away from those words can hide the button.
- HomeLog always asks first, and never opens a gate or runs a device on its own.
- Today's path is for makers: you need a Shelly and an existing gate motor. In Thailand we can help install it; elsewhere you follow the guide yourself.
- A small team runs this — the Thai guide is the main path, English and Japanese are still catching up, and there is no 24/7 support yet.
Add HomeLog on LINE and send what happened. We read every message and collect feedback there for now — it isn't 24/7 support yet, but nothing gets lost.
